you create a RIS image. you load the image onto the RIS server. you then start the 65 computers. you find that the 30 PXE-compliant computers can connect to the RIS server. However, the 35 non-PXE-compliant computers cannot connect to the RIS server. you want to enable the non-PXE-compliant computers to connect to the RIS server.

| I agree with esexon on A. If I had to choose another I would have to choose D. | |
| I've seen question #1 on transcender and exam essential. It's A and C | |
| I for one have never seen any section pertaining to offline files/folders within the property sheets...anyone else? | |
| in the folder properties/sharing tab, check the button labeled share this folder and the caching radio button becomes available allowing you to configure settings for offline access to this folder. | |
| I think we have deviated from the question. Are we talking as if we are sitting in front of the server? Since we are not members of the administrators group we are prohibited from sharing file systems. If the directory is already shared then we can enable offline files/folders. And by default the enable caching for documents is automatically enabled.
Maybe I am reading too much into the question? | |
| duh, maybe I shoud just read the question. | |
| the term home folders refers to a location on the server, but you can get to the sharing tab on a 2k prof. machine also.
I'm always the administrator, everyone else is job security. |
