hi, i am Jon jon, today is the first day i joint this forum. i have some mcse2000 70-210 exam question want to ask yours.

1.you are the adminstrator fo your company network. your network has 75 windows2000 Pro. computers and eight windows2000 Server computers. Users on the network save their work files in home folder on the network server. the NTFS partition that contains the home folders has Encrypting File System (EFS)enabled. the partition also has a disk qoutas defined.

A user named John reports that she cannot save any files into he home folder. He also cannot update files into he home folder. when he attemps to save the files into the folder, she receives the following error message" Insufficient disk space". Other user are not experiencing this problem with their home folders.

you want to enable John to save the files into he home folder, what should you do?

A. Log on into the network as the recovery agent. Decrypt all the files in he home folders.
B. Log on into the network by using the domain administrator account. Grant John Full Access Control permission to he own folder.
C. Use windows backup to achieve and remove old files on the server.
D. Increase the server disk quota entry for John to accommodate the additional files.

2. you are the administrator of your company network. you purchase 75 new Win2000 Pro. computer that will share by the users in Graphics Organization Unit (OU). all of the computers are configured identically.

you want users to be able to maintain their individual desktop setting regardless of which computer they use. you want to accomplish this with the least amount of administartive effort.

A. Configure each computer to join a workgroup.Create a user account and local profiles for each user.

B.Configure each computer to join the workgroup. Create a domain user account that uses roaming user profiles.

C. Configure each computer to join the domain. Create a user account for each user on a domain controller.

D. Configure each computer to join the domain. Create a domain user account that uses roaming user profiles.

3.if all the file that store by john is encrypted and he lost and forget the private key. what you can do to help the user to retrieve back the file.

A. To Decrypted back the file by the administrator
B. To send the private key from administrator to john folders.
C. The file cannot be open.
D. To send the public key from administrator to John folders.

1. Would be D. Increase the server disk quota entry for John to accommodate the additional files.

2. Would be D. Configure each computer to join the domain. Create a domain user account that uses roaming user profiles.

And 3. would be A. To Decrypted back the file by the administrator, Because Administrators have that option by default

Im really Sorry i cant go into detail about these questions, But I have to run to the airport, I can try and elaborate once I get back

Maybe I can help Daviet elaborate:

1. D because Recovery Agent and encryption has nothing to do with disk quotas, granting full control only would apply to permissions and not disk quotas (it would not allow more space in John's folder) and if you backup his files (and remove them i'm assuming), he will have the same amount of space, but minus the files he use to have.

2. D You want to use Roaming Profiles to accomplish this and having them in a Domain centralizes the profiles.

3. A The Administrator cannot recover a lost key. A new one can be set but not recovered. However an Administrator can decrypt the files.

Have a safe trip Daviet

Hope this helps
