| Hi,
I just passed my CCNA recently. And wanted to go for a MCP status. Anyone reccommend some study material? I have Transcenders, and the Troy guide, what book will be the best for this exam?

| I also have my A+ and N+, does the N+ certificate substitute for anything? For becoming an MCSE do I juse need 6 exams? Or do I have to take all 7? I am not MCSE 4.0.

You should look into the M$ books, I started Pro 2 weeks ago and have looked through the other books and they seem to be very good guides. | |

| from my understanding exam cram is suppose to be good for the first 2 test, but not the later.

Are you going to look into getting a copy of 2000 professional to fiddle around with? I’ve looked over the troy and EE5.5, judging by the questions I think I'm going to need a copy of it myself. Freak recommends the MS press books the exam cram and troy all together. I wonder if one might just be able to get away with exam cram and troy though?
Do you have any idea how hard 210 is compared to the ccna? The 210 troy recommends you study around half the hours it said for the ccna troy so I’m guessing its gonna be a bit easier. Well I guess I wont know until I start reading the book.
So which is it folks out there in MCSE land, MS press, exam cram, both, or maybe some other book?

| I heard alot of ppl say that CCNA is harder than MCSE, but who knows for sure. Unless you have taken them yourself. I have win2k pro, ser, adv ser, and data. So I'm set, I'm just going to read troy, and then buy a book.

please, as regards your CCNA cert. exams, did you go the hands on study way or did you have to register with a school? Do you think it's possible to pass just by studying with books?

| Cadman, So you think MS press is good for 210? waht about 215? I have exp in win2k, so what if I get examcram? Thanks bro
KOLDCASE, I studied using books, and had some hands on exp. (which did not help me on the test, but is good to know). Get the Sybex CCNA book by lammle, and also use Troy.
I'm working on a website, so when its done, I'll let you know.
