| trying to do the networking thing some day i passed my A+ core and windows/dos is mcse the next thing i should consider? help.. | |
|
| Kinda depends on your experience. If you have been working on a LAN for awhile the plunge into MCSE if not then take the time to look into Network +. It covers most of the same stuff the old Networking Essentials covered in NT4. But either way best of luck

| Depends on your experience.
Personally this is the route i'm taking:
A+,Net+,Inet+,and now MCSE then probably CCNA
Each cert builds on the next.Going from A+ to MCSE is quite a jump especially with the 2000 track which doesn't give you the grounding that Network Essentials did for the NT track.
The 2000 track just throws you right in there assuming you have basic network knowledge.

| I recommend you take net+ first... | |
|
| I just started MCSE2000 (Working On pro) And Would be Lost in the dark if it wasn't for having my Network+ cert. I already understand alot of the material due to it alone, So Just as everyone else strongly recomended, You should look at getting your Net+ first. | |
|
| go for the Net +. You can't loose.
