| I have been messing around for the past 2 months trying to decide what to study next, i have spent money on the Mcse books and CCNA books but i just can't pull myself together to start studying.
Seems i have lost motivation somewhere along the line.
Hoping someone can give me some advice on where to go from here.
I have A+,Net+,Inet+ - working for a ISP doing second line support having worked my way up from 1st line within 3 months. My dream is to go into sys admin as a junior within the next year or so .I also have a fond interest in Web design.
Arrrghhh - Too many choices, Help!!

| If your dream is to be a sysadmin I would suggest the MCSE track. This way you could get a little more background with you new interest in web design.
By the way your post goes I think CCNA would be going down a different path that you want. You could always go down this path later though.
Hope you find what your looking for | |

| I know what you are going through. I have been struggling with the same thing since I got my MCSE. Keep in mind that you will always need to be working on something in this industry. I would recommend the MCSE 2000 track because it covers so much material. Also, make sure you know what you are gettong on to. I was also inerested in web Development until i realkized that those guys sit in front of a computer all day. Thats not for me. The thing I love about my job is that I get to roam around alot so it never gets boring... Remember, doing something you enjoy is far better than getting a fat paycheck. |
