| Is it possible to sit and pass the windows 2000 70-210 exam from simply using books?? | |
|
| I hope so, Seing as that is what Im doing, And I have passed 2 other exams through comptia off it alone, It all comes down to how well it sits in your brain, If you can remember how things work and why, Then You should be fine
Good Luck! | |

| Call me dense (from hunting Yeti), but why would you want to pass just using books? You might be able to, though. | |
|
| "why would you want to pass just using books?"
Money!!
If I could afford the classes I probably would, But classes are not the best thing, My friend took A+ through a course, I used the exam prep/cram books.. And he still calls me for help (We both possess the A+ cert) Real world experience is always the best, But if you have books, A lab to play with, And the right mind set, I think its just as good as a class, if not better, Seeing as you save that extra $$$
I guess alot of it also depends on your teacher aswell...

| Yes! U can pass the exam just using the book, but if u really want to learn. Working or hand on experiences will definitly help on the actual exam.

| Use all that you can...if books is all you have right now then use them. Until you can get your hands on something else use what you have.
Do what you can to get yourself ahead!!
|
| Lab memory lasts longer, books is just like a dream, will forget 3 mos after pass exam, hehehe | |

| Interesting article in today's Certification Magazine. Separates out the difference between Vapor MCSE and Paper MCSE.
I like these:
You might be a Vapor MCSE:
1. If the receptionist at the test center knows you on a first-name basis because you repeated all your exams four times.
2. If you never bought any study materials or cracked a training book.
3. If you primarily studied the questions and answers on brain dump sites.
4. If you lied to your friends that your dog ate your test simulation disks and you'd like to borrow theirs.
5. If you asked others to help you figure out the answers to questions you missed on your tests.
6. If you got together with your friends after passing your last test and celebrated beating the system.
