| Can you convert dynamic volumes back to basic volumes?
And how do you have more mount points than there are letters in the alphabet? Are they not designated with letters?
Thanks in advance.

| you can revert back to a basic disk from a dynamic disk....one catch...you have to back up all data and delete volumes on the disk to do so
you can convert from basic to dynamic with no data loss but the same does not hold true for going from dynamic to basic
you have more mount points than letters because you mount drives to a host folder on another drive
to access the mounted drive you access the folder..the folder name can be anything
hope this helped | |

| Thanks Poudin, that was what I wanted to know.
Oh, and congratulations on passing. I am green with envy but I don't feel ready.
