Author Try Troy Technologies Guides?

2001-01-27, 3:18 am

Has anyone ever tried to study from the Troy technologies Guides? I am using that, EE, and hands on at work.
Let me know your opinions.

Yeah, I'm using them along with Exam-Cram, MCSE by Osbourne/Syngress, and 1 years experience with Win2k network. I've been an admin here for 3 1/2 years. Used Novell 4.11 (yuck!), migrated to NT 4.0, and then on to Win2k. I've got the most out of the experience side of things, however! Hope this helps. (PS: the $30 for the troy tech is WORTH IT!)

Working from Troy Tech is not a good idea
Using it at the end to polish up is a great idea

This sort of thing is becoming far too common an occurence! Not only in this forum but others as well. I just hope the Webmaster puts things into place to control this sort of thing - - would hate to see the result if it continues, it would turn into a real circus.
I wonder if people really read the agreement when they register? Since item #2 states;
2) No illegal software trade here!

Personal study notes are one thing, but copyright material is a definate infraction!
All we can do is wait and see what happens and notify the webmaster of what we feel are wrong doings.

Don't worry guys. I am not giving anything away, nor should anyone, but I don't mind telling people what to look into and what is good to use to study for certian tests.
