Here's a good question for you guys.... say that you have enabled offline caching of documents to a particular shared folder on your PC. Jan and Kate both enable offline files/folders on their laptops. They each work on the same files, bills.xls and returns.xls. Jan and Kate both decide that they'd like to work at home on these at night. They both work on the files, bills.xls and returns.xls, and return to the office the next day. At THE SAME EXACT TIME, Jan and Kate BOTH synchronize the offline files at the same time, both having different versions.......what would happen?

This was one of the test questions....that I unfortunately MISSED! Someone please tell me what the appropriate answer to this would be. Thanks!

Yeah, it did have a multiple choice answers, but unfortunately I forgot what they were. Anyway, can someone answer this one with out answers? (If it were up to MS, probably all tests would be this way, eh?!)

Thanks.

I would say that when they try to save, it will be detected that both files have different time stamps than the one on the server, therefore the usrs will be given 3 solutions: not save, save and overwrite, or save under different names so that they can merge the two files...
