Today I passed Exam 70-210 Windows 2000 Professional. The passing mark is 540 and I got a 600. I should have done better but at least my studying paid off. If anyone wants to know more about the test than please contact me...

The test was tricky with few words making it correct or wrong answers. The passing mark is 540. Its standard format. Non-Adaptive. Several were long questions. I had 1 hr 45 min to finish the exam. I had many drop and drag questions.

Thanks for the input! I have read that the passing score for 70-210 is 620. Everyone keeps saying that it is 540. What exactly does 620 or 540 mean? Do you know how this scoring system works? What is the correct passing score? Hey, thanks for the input and help. I really appreciate that.

Will I be able to see my score on the day I take the exam? Do I have to wait any time period???

Thanks.

Unless M$ has pulled another fast one, the magic number to pass is 540. I believe it was 620 at one time...

According to my instructor, each question is weighted and scored differently and is figured that way for each exam!

Hope this helps--

Hey. The score will be shown as soon as you complete the exam. Yes. The passing score is at 540. I was pretty nervous when I click on end review after completing my exam. Here is how the score is computed.

50 questions = 1000
40 questions = 800

The equation is: Total Score / Number of Ques. = your score

This is how it works.
When you say the passing score is 620, it's possible. It used to be so.
They allways take an average off completed exams. So if your lucky and you are in a period where a lot of people fail, passing score will drop.
And when there are a lot of people who are passing with a score of 800 and more like me, passing score will be higher.
