| long time no see, all. anyways, i got a problem with ics in win2k and a client machine that has win98. seems that the client machine always has problems accessing sites in a foreign continent (me in canada accessing site in china), but does not have any problems accessing any of the sites that are local (i.e. north america). my win2k machine can access any site i type in, ti's just this client machine that's having probs. anybody know the reason to this? | |

| Hey. Does your client have Win 98 R2? In this edition of Windows 98 - it supports ICS. If that's not the problem - if the client can only access sites in North America but not in other countries than have the client try to ping the other country's server. For example : client pings the gateway in Russia from USA. That should determine the problem.
