Passed with 760-Here is what I remember...

| I'm quite relieved. Passed today with a whooping 760. Not the best score in the world but what the hell....pass is a pass.
I used transcender and examessentials and the sygress book.
Overall it was a fair exam. There were just around 5 questions that came out of nowhere to catch me. So all I could do there was guessing.
Here is what I can remember:
1. You want to find a share but have no clue where it is. How do you find it?
Answer:System Tools.....
2.You installed a new nic, but can't ping its TCP/IP address and also not its loopback. What's the problem?
Answer:Replace NIC
3.Exibit. RIS/problems with clients who cannot connect. What's the problem? (chose two)
Answer: DHCP server is missing+Wrong default gateway
4. You have a built in 33kbps modem which conflicts with a 56K modem. You only want to use the 56K modem. What do you do? Exibit.
56K-Remove through Device Manager
33K-Disable through Device Manager
5. You have problems using your FTP connecting to an FTP site. You want to open the proper port and protocol. What do you need to do? (Choose all that apply)
Answers: TCP,21
6. You can only send but not receive faxes...blah blah... What do you need to do to receive faxes? Can't remember answer...
3 installer packages questions can't remember though.
Lots of printer scenarios
3-4 Objectives stuff questions. Like, here is the scenario. Here are the objectives. Here is what the admin did. What are the results?
How do you change a profile into a mandatory profile?
Answer: Change the extension to MAN
How do you uninstall a installer package from....blah,blah..with the least amount of administrative effort?
Answer:MSIexec/x (That's what I chose at least)
How do you turn of the log on/off option...
Answers: Taskbar, local policy
When you create new user account, which option is check by default?
Answer: Change password at next login
A user needs the magnifier option (something like that) enabled on his machine. How can you do that? (chose all that apply)
Answers: Accessibilty Wizard, Utility manager
Pheww, that's all I can remember. I hope it helps you guys.
Passing Score by the way was 540.
