| Can anyone help me with this stop error in win2k, what happend was i tried to instal an Acer cd rw on win2k and i guess it was not on the HCL {lessoned learned} But anyway if anyone can help i would really appreciate | |

| Hi ddogp,
Have you tried booting the system up using the Last Known Good Configuration. If you installed the CD-RW and haven't logged in since installing it, using LKGC should allow you to boot the system up and remove the CD-RW.
If not, have you tried booting up from the Windows 2000 CD or setup disks and then selecting the Recovery Console option when you are prompted to choose repair options? You could then use the disable command to disable the device driver.
Just some ideas to get you on your way.
