Hey everyone,

I bought some materials today for my remaining Cisco tests and was unable to find a book on ARCH. Do they expect you to pass based on your CCNP foundations? I did pick up the flashcards (which hopefully will help) but wondered if anyone knows whether or not Cisco Press is coming out with a book for this exam.

Currently Cisco Press is planning to release an ARCH book later this year, around the October/November time frame. Take a look at the test objectives and search Cisco's web site for related material. Take a look at some of the post in this forum. There may be some information that is useful to you. You might even find the ARCH pdf, it's about 34 meg.

Thanks for the info man. I plan to take the exam before October, so I'll probably hunt down whatever pdfs I can. Its still the first time I've seen Cisco not already have a book for an exam.

Cisco doesn't have books for many exams actually. Books usually come after the exams are released. The courses or course book is what the exams are based off.
