| Mostly everyone fails it the 1st 2 times. I passed last week with a 848. I used Boson and the DESGN book. Forget the ECG book. Not enough info. | |

| I passed it the first time largely due to actualtests.com PDF. Go get it, it will help. Lots of stupid grammatical and other errors, but question are very similar to actual test questions. Helps you prepare for the test. | |

| Darthloser,
I am a happily married man who doesn't wish to look at women other than my wife. In the process of trying to figure out the underlying meaning to your statement. I went to that link. I am greatly offended on two fronts. First the porn offended me second off, I get the impression that you were accusing me of something.
If actual tests is considered cheating, I will use something else. I studied Lamke very hard and only ran through the actualtests material on my last study day. Can somebody other than the lusting looser let me know if actualtests is generally considered to be cheating.

| Many see it as cheating because the questions are very similar or something like that. | |

Knowing the answers to the questions before you sit the exam, how on earth can that be considered cheating????
The nerve of some people.

| The goal of all studying is to know the answers to all potential questions before they are asked. If it were not, exams would served open book, like Journeyman electrician tests are.
Knowing the exact questions on a particular exam before taking it for the intended purpose of getting past the test without needing to know the whole body of information is clearly cheating.
Studying your rear end off for weeks or months on end to make sure you know and understand all potential material and then taking advantage of every available pretest resource before taking the actual test is not cheating.
If you are going to call taking advantage of materials that claim to familiarize you with the approximate or probable test question cheating, then it is also cheating for your instructor to say "hint" you may want to memorize this section as it is "very likely" to be on the test. The only question is just where you draw the line.
If I knew first hand that a particular resource was a list of exact test questions, I would never use it for ethical reasons, but if I find out during the test I think only in terms of the guilt of those who violated copyright laws, because I know I was not looking for a short cut, but rather full coverage.
Once I have studied with a study-guide, I can always past a test on the third try. Why? Because I know enought of the actual questions and the answers to those questions based on the fact that I have been there twice before. What is the difference? 250 dollars. Nothing more, nothing less. I will either extend my knowledge with cheap or free pre-tests, or I will pay Cisco to gain familiarity with the questions.
Anyone who has half a brain knows that Cisco questions and answers are not always objective. I could understand the material perfectly and not be able to answer half of their questions, because the answer depends on a number of other factors or points of view that they do not supply in the question. If I had time to type comments the evaluator could judge the completeless of my knowledge based upon my comments, but they do not leave enough time for comments, it is just a pretense at fairness.
As is often the case this whole discussion is not as simple as some would like to make it. I don't beleave in grey areas, but I might not agree with you on where the black starts, and it is impossible to know in advance whether a particular pre-test one has obtained is genuine or illegal.
By the time I take a test, I have read so much and gone through so many pre-tests that I usually recognize some questions, and I appreciate that because I don't have to waste too much time on comprehension of the question because it is familiar. I would eventually get there with no pre-tests at all, but I would be taking the proverbial bread out of my childrens mouths for the same end result and that is bad stewardship in my thinking.

| You failed it twice AFTER reading brain dumps?
(snigger)
Passed it a third time huh? Well, law of averages is that you must get most the questions this time round.
Does anybody else actually study any more?

I call it "sucking from the IT welfare tit". Some people won't study if they don't have to and can get everyone else to do the work for them, just like some people won't work if they have everything handed to them for free.
Some people in these forums don't even know how to use a search engine to look things up on the web. They expect others to look it up for them and give them the answer. If some "wannabees" don't even know how or are too lazy to use a search engine, the future of IT is dark indeed. This stuff makes my blood boil sometimes.
...and people wonder why certifications don't mean much anymore.

| i am really amused by the way some people have made some accusations based on some really septugenarian thoughts.
what made these people think that the ones who refer to the dumps never study?? after all even if a "paper certificate" holder lands up with a job, what would he/she do based on the dumps he/she learnt. people! use some common sense.
i had asked updates in the matter of white papers and reading materials, not for brain dumps.
the questions i had posted might've come in the exam but i did not do to merely mug it up but to analyse the reasoning other people adopt when designing a case posed in the questions.
even if someone wants to use just dumps it is none of your business, if you wanna exclude it from the forum, simple post a rule then everyone will shut up and go about doing what they have to without you people messing around because you have no life of your own.
i do not even know why am i giving you guys an explanation, but i seriously feel before you start fibbing around, think.
