First of all I want to thank people on this forum for their support.

Looking back, taking this exam was such a "lovely" experience... from preparation to final step...heard about all subjects I was asked about, but there were few particular details I did not remember...luckily, just few...

Well, about my studying, it was not the most optimum one, spent few months filling gaps in my knowledge base and waiting for a book ... and at the end decided to try my luck. Support found on this forum was very important for me.This pointed pdf material what is circulating around was very very helpful in organizing my learning.

Lots of my time went on Cisco web site finding and downloading materials. There are very nice and very helpful pdf-s called Solution Reference Network Design Guides (SRNDs) which are available to everybody (without any special account): http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/779/largeent/it/ese/srnd.html I strongly recommend you to go through it.
For SAFE: http://www.cisco.com/go/safe, for high avalability: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk869/tk769/tech_white_papers_list.html - take a quick pass through relevant subjects.
Also I quickly went through product pages and related tools for all relevant product groups, for example:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/cscowork/index.html
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/index.html
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/contnetw/index.html
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/779/smbiz/service/advisor/
http://cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/ products_administration_guides
_list.html
.....

At last, having that opportunity, I went through new CiscoPress CCNP study books (BSCI, BCMSN, BCRAN) and new CCDA book. That was not the detailed learning, I just wanted to fresh up my knowledge base in subjects relevant for ARCH exam and to see what was added from time I passed that exams... and through some other books: Cisco Voice over FR, ATM and IP, Cisco Call Manager Fundamentals, Cisco IP Telephony - Training Materials, DQOS. I can't say that reading of these books is must-to-do task, but for my particular case it helped me to feel more confident in my knowledge ... and to find out that most subjects from QoS and IP telephony have very good coverage in previously mentioned SRNDs.

Wish you all very best with this and all other exams!

Congratulations -- way to go!

Thanks for the post and tips. Those SRND docs sound like good resources. I'm now going through the full 34M PDF (essentially the ARCH course) as opposed to the 3M (student guide, essentially an outline). Also studying switching, which helps on QoS, multicast, HA etc.

I think if you have the experience, and/or are more diligent about gathering more content, the outline gives a good starting point for preparation.

Congrats on getting your CCDP.
