I studied the same book and the sybex exam notes. I judged me progress by Cisco website. But like you said it is to broad. Well i go my a$$ handed to me on the test. Over half of it was on IPv6. Not a clue what I was doing. If not for the v6 questions I would be a CCDA. Good luck man.

Ok Allencf,

You failed the test and you got many IPv6 questions so what is the problem.
Go back to the books and kill that IPv6 of a bit(h and don't forget to watch/review the other topics also and hit back for the exam and kill that bastard.

I hope this give you the push you need!

Look for "The ABCs of IP Version 6" on Cisco's site. 71 pages, very clear. It includes a set of 27 review questions very similar to their test question format in appendix C, and correct answers in Appendix D

Check it out.

Demijohn:

I have done a search at Cisco for the IPv6 reference you gave and could not turn anything up. Can you provide a link to it?

Much thanks!

Nevermind...found it...it is actually buried in the ABCs of Cisco IOS Software.

Thanks!

Could one of you, Demijohn or Meijin, provide the link to "The ABCs of IP Version 6". I went through the entire 51 links of "ABCs of IOS Networking the Enterprise" but didn't find.

I appreciate it.
Thanks.

Well...leave it to Cisco to change their piece of $hit website again...took forever to find it again.

Look here for it:

My apologies.... I should have included a link with my original post, but they've already moved it so it wouldn't have done much good.

I wonder why they keep changing the pages addresses, anybody knows why?

Look on the bright side.... at least they're constantly updating their web content.
