Transcender CCDA...opinions?

| Hey all...I am really planning on tearing into the CCDA in the next few weeks. I was looking at available resources to help me prepare and was wondering about the Transcender product? It shows a cost of $139.00 and contains 192 questions. Does anyone have any experience or opinions of it? I have never used any Transcender product before, but the ones on Microsoft and Comptia seem to get pretty good reviews.

| I have used Transcenders on many of my Microsoft exams, and felt they were a good test prep. When I did my CCNA, years back, I did not use Transcenders. At the time the feel I got from the boards I checked was that they were not that great. I cannot say for sure because I did not use them. I did use the Sercurity+ Transcender, months back and I was not impressed. I plan on doing the CCDA, but I have while yet to prepare, been quiet busy. When I do I probably will not use Transcender, They are a little pricey, and I think I can get more bang for the buck elsewhere.

| I have a little more, or should I say a lot more reading before my exam prep.I am going to check out Self-test and Boson.There was a test sim I used years back, but I cannot remember what it was, it was pretty good. I will have to check the office at home and see if I could find it, hopefully the company is still in business. I think our field is narrowed on this one, with the new exam I don,t think there is a whole lot out there? |
