Nice exam, but a little weak ever since they removed topics like Apple, IPX, SNA etc

Onto 640-901 (last exam) to get my CCNP & CCDP in one shot.

Best of luck everyone.

Hello,

Congratulations in your passing!!! keep going on!!!

Are you using examxxeasy to pass the above exam.

Some friend of us asked my advice to buy it?

Thanks.

No my friend, i did not use that product. I just used actual hands on experience with Cisco routers, and of course, those fantastic cisco press books.

But it seems you already have CCNP. Is your certification about to expire? In that case, the only extra thing you need to know is IS-IS. You can get the free IS-IS chapter from the cisco press website.

Am aiming to get CID done prior to the end of May deadline -

Where on ciscopress.com can I get the IS-IS free info? (I have already registered as a member ).

Thanks in advance

Tekky Bird,

Here is the location of the IS-IS doc:

http://www.ciscopress.com/content/i...NSupplement.pdf

Knowledge of IS-IS is only required when taking CCNP's BSCI exam. Since you already have CCNP, you don't need this. CID does not require any knowledge of this protocol.

Voirin,

I just passed the BCSI last weekend, and of the 57 questions (75 min, 700 passing):

5- VLSM & IP Addressing
10-12 were IS-IS
12-15 were BGP.
~10 OSPF,EIGRP,IGRP,RIP "rules"
1 Sim configuring OSPF - very basic

I just re-cert'd my CCDA a couple of weeks ago, and am going to sneak in the CID in a few weeks, but can you give a little insight into what topics they questioned more than others? How many case studies were there? If AppleTalk, SNA, and IPX are no longer covered, did they focus on OSPF, EIGRP and BGP?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
