| Hi, I am to take this exam shortly. I was wondering if anyone has taken the exam lately and could give me some pointers like what the exam stressed, and good materials used to study the exam like what cisco books etc.
Thanks!

| I passed this exam at the beginning of the month. Typical fair Cisco exam. I used Mike Crane's Cisco® CID Exam Certification Guide (ISBN: 1587200333) from Cisco Press. It was a great study resources.
Good luck if you haven't writtent this exam yet! | |

| I just took it this week.... Passed!!!!
DONT USE SYBEX.... ROB PADJEN (I think thats how you spell his name) does an injustice by selling a sub par book...
IT was rough exam... Only cus it inadvertently tests your knowledge of Routing, Support, and RA...
Good Luck! | |

| Hey guys,
Thanks for the reply.
I actually took CID mid-december last year. It was fairly straight forward. Used CID by Cisco Press for it. It was a fairly simple exam I feel since there were no questions on SNA, Stratacom, IPX, Apple etc.
Best of luck everyone!
Cheers,
