Hi..
I'm a new comer here. I'm now preparing my CCDA exam. I have only one book that's CCDA Study Guide Book From CiscoPress.
Now i need another book, that's CCDA Study Guide from SYBEX.Is there any body know where i can download the pdf of this book by free. Please i need it so much.

| Go to buy a Sybex CCDA book from book shop or amazon. You can then download the PDF Sybex from the attached CD-ROM. It is "FREE". | |

| Guys remember Indonesia its realllllllly far away, maybe amazon dont delevers so far, if to get a book in my country i have to rent a pobox in Miami, Florida and wait up to five or six days to get the books here, how much time its going to be for these guy to get his stuff, maybe ccda doesnt exist any more.

He got CCNA book (supposed it is a "book") why can't get DA?
"Copy right" Should we consider it?

your need is free CCDA pdf, so it is rather difficult. If you do not have enough money, goto hardy bookshop at mangga dua (jakarta)
you can get CCDA fr sybex for $20
or you can follow the link below for some cisco resource

please remind that I do not suggest to cheat the exam. I do not promote the braindump. Anyone who is pursuing certs should know the stuff & have experiences on the subject that tested.
My point is : in my country the import book is so expensive & almost impossible for us to buy it. The only one I can blame is the government that do not give donation for book publishing. So we must research across the Net for free resource. For example, we must pay 2 times than US price. That's crazy isn't ?
India is very good country for book publishing. US book is reprinted there, so we can buy nearly 75% of US price without violating copyright matter

| I did not imply that you intended to cheat on the exam, just cheat the publishers and the author out of money that they deserve.

| I was lucky about the stuff from India. My friend was trained there 6 months ago, and I bought 3 books with his help.
regularly, It's very difficult to buy a book fr India, because the EULA of the re-printed book stated that the book is sold on India/Pakistan only. I am searching indian people for my mediator, but not yet find it | |

| With the certs you have, you should have a respectable salary, even in Indonesia they pay well to highly train people, so dont cry like a baby, go an buy the damm book, like we all do.

The true baby is a person that just looking for actual QA fr the dump & very lazy to learn the stuff, and I am not.
Don't guess my salary, because It depends on the company we work for. I am pursuing certs for increasing my salary, make a better life, and buy the import book.
Damn, sure I love the IT books at amazon & always looking for unteresting title.
I plan to get MCT soon, so I will have acess to various ms resource at cut price.
guys, I am working on a medium company, and do not ask about my salary. I am looking for a better job now, hopefully I can reach it with my certs.

| You see im right your a big baby, complaining about prices, and stuff, ok. I dont think you will get anyone to give you a free copy, why dont you write to tedd lambee or sybex for a free copy, maybe they send it to you.

Actually, no one can blame us at our poor countries from trying to get legal free or cheap resources for taking exams.
Do you know that my salary as example is about 185 USD/Month?!. so for taking the exam and buying US copy of the book I will lose my salary.
If I want to get books from India, It will take time and effort (you have to know some one there or travel yourself) to get the books.
So what I try to say is that we need legal free or cheap resources suitable for our capabilities. Hope one day we can be as India!
Until now I did not take exams except N+ because of that problem. I am waiting for getting some books from India to continue!. | |

| I am strick for buying books etc, however, I also realize the book cost taking into effect of local economy.
However, I don't know if any of you have explore this... libraries?
University, city, or something... I dunno... I would assume that most large libraries would prolly have something like a popular certification book... or have a *wish list* type request form so you can put in a request... all you need is a few weeks with a book from a library and couple that with the resources on the website

and you should be all set... infact... book coverage is genearlly lacking imo... if you take the book as guideline, then use cisco site to search for how to, configuration examples etc... then you will be prepared for the test.
design tests sucks tho...
also, balkaff, ever try www.microsoft.com/technet ? (as you indicate you are pursuing microsoft cert also) resource kits are free on the site, it is also loaded with microsoft info. libraries may not have cisco stuff... but microsoft stuff? ... not sure about yemen, but I know malaysia etc have those resources avilaable easily. | |

But do you know that 100.000 Y.Rl is equal to 550 USD not 2000 USD! .
The Official price for 1 USD is 50 Y.Rl but the real price used in Market is 180 Y.Rl .

At last, I have pass CCDA exam 640-441 on 8th February 2003. I have read the copy of CCDA Exam Guide - CiscoPress and try hard to master it.

| Does anyone have any information regarding the new CCDA? As version 1.1 will be retired on March the 5th and you can no longer book this exam.
I have contacted Cisco and I am still awaiting the reply, I was wondering if anyone else has heard anything.
Most likely an update to the syllabus and the technology employed in today’s networks.
