| Took the CCDA test this morning...passed fairly well. Just like all of the other threads...4 case studies, about 8-10 questions on each and the rest, basic Cisco knowledge. I just earned my CCNP last month, so maybe that is why it was a tad less stressful then those tests, but if I had not already studied the basics, it would have been a bear of a test. I used Sybex CCDA, CiscoPress CCDA Exam Certification, and DCN from McGraw Hill (which had a lot of the questions in the book verbatum on the test). I did Boson test#1 CCDA, which was beneficial also. Know SNA, X.25 and LAN protocols. Also, review the older Cisco equipment, as the test is not up to date on all equipment, and was asked for the first time on any Cisco test about DSL!
Now, to all of you CCDPs, what is the best, recommended CID book(s), review material?

Personally, based from my experience .. taking CID shouldn't be problem after you completed CCNP and CCDA ..i bet if you did well b4, you can register for CID tomorow and can pass the exam 
For me, i only used Boson, Sybex and Cisco training materials ..and spent about one week for the exam ..
the only advice, watch out for the words .it's quite confusing and the answer look similar ..so think and rethink before tick the answer.
and no SNA, AT and IPX ...

| Congra.! As shahandiza said, what the CID tests you have learned in your CCNP & CCDA studying except ATM. Just the difficulty is of picking a right ansower among those similar choices.
I spent 2.5 weeks for my CID after CCDA. Most times I invested in ATM & Starasphere but only little appeared in the exam., and only the basic.

yeah ..forgot to mentioned about atm and strataspehere ..but as pomerol mentioned ..it is simple ..for strataspehere ..just remember three different products and that's all ..
atm .well .quite interesting topic and useful too ...
