| What advises can you give me? Using SYBEX as study guide. Thanks. | |
|
| Use the Cisco books as advised by many others in the forum.
I can't comment on Sybex, I don't know anybody who has used them.
Concentrate on case studies. | |

| Alongside the Cisco books, people seem to stack it with the Boson program | |

| Cisco Press.
There are two kinds of question in CCDA, Case Study and typical r&w and design concept.
For the latter, they are not dofficult just asking you "what is the prefered route : 10.9.1.1/28 m:90; 10.9.2.1/24 m:20", "max. no. of hosts in ipx network", "what is the third step of design doc." & etc. You won't have much problem if you have read and understnad the content of the books.
However, for the former, it is a big problem. There are three-four cases with thousands of words each and 8-10 questions associated with each case, i.e. 30+ question regarding case study.
There is no "back" in CCDA. When the first case study case question appears, you have to read thousands of word before answer that first question. I suggest you make keynote of the case with Cisco design guildlines.
It is much difficult to non-native English (or Japanese, if exam. takes in Japan) speaking ppls like me.
Good luck! | |
