I used the Michael Crane book. 755 to pass. To be honest, I think that is a good book. I have ran into many roadblocks lately. I kinda thought that I knew just enough to get pass, but that isn't the case. I will take the test at the end of July.

Just received Cisco Press CID Exam Cert. Guide. Crane and Terrel.

Scimmed through the book; seems pretty comprehensive. Also I had the opportunity to load the included software, not bad. 200 CID questions.

Only got through the first two chapters today, not overly dry.

As it goes I'll update this thread, including passing the exam. ( Gotta keep a positive attitude. )

Good Luck

Took the CID today, passed. Used the Crane and Terrel book.

I felt comfortable going into the test. This is the first time I can remember having to guess and / or eliminate answers.

I haven't seen the Brikner book. Crane and Terrel MAY get you passed this exam. This is the first time I can say I don't feel as though a CiscoPress book didn't prepare me well for the test subject matter.

(Maybe it is because they recently changed the exam contents and the exam writers didn't Crane as source!)
