| After 2 months of self-study, I just passed the CCDA exam scored closed to 900.
The resources used were Cisco Press 2 books: CCDA Certification Guide and Designing Cisco
Networks (DCN). I found the DCN book more readable. Unlike M$ exams. even though you
studied M$ Press books from back to front
ten times, you may still fail the exam. I
think Cisco is more fair to the students, all
the answers to the exam questions can be found in the Cisco Press books.
Just beware that once you answered a question and clicked NEXT, you can't go back to change your answer.
Don't know what to do next. I am NOT
technically trained to progress to CCNP or
CCDP level. | |

| I wasn't trained either when I got my CCNP. The ciscopress books are very good for exam prep. I to used both books plus the CCDA quizware.com exam. I'm settting the Exchange 2000 exams end of this week. I'm trying to do a certification a month. After Exchange, its on to the Checkpoint CCSA, then Oracle OCA, then PIX CSS1.

| CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Just curious if you have any hands on real word experience, also do you have your CCNA. I have CCNA and am studying for CCDA with the Cisco Press CCDA Cert Guide, I get allot of hands on experience at work the last 5 months and just want to see what my odds are. | |
|
| when I took my exams for my CCNP, I had very little real world experience. However, I did buy my own equipment. You can see my lab at my website www.aaonford.com.
