Hey guys,

I am starting my CCDA studies after recently completing my CCNP. The information seems relatively the same as the stuff for CCNP or should I say a review. How many if any of you guys found this extremly basic and required no additional study with the exception of getting into the case studies? Keep in mind I just finished my CCNP so I am by no means being cocky or downplaying CCDA. I just feel it is a review. Any comments?

I wish I'd done it your way....

But (big but) I've probably seen more CCNP'sthan CCNA's fail it by not giving it enough.

The case studies are a killer mentally, on their own they're not that challenging but when you have several of them and youre jumping around them they will give you a headache!

It's not easy, but is definately passable.

Good luck! Put the work in and you'll pass with flying colours.

i found ccda harder than any of the ccnp certs. The wording of the questions is unbelievable, had me head scratching trying to work out what on earth they wanted to know. I genuinely thought i had failed. I'm finding ccdp to be much more straightforward in that it seems to be much more based on indepth technical knowledge rather than the design scenario's.

For some reason people think ccda is a walk in the park. It's more like a walk over hot coals.

CCDA is not headache but its a big headache . Case studies really sucks so in order to pass you need to have good understanding that how you solve case studies .

Good luck

I think there is nothing tricky about the cisco exams. You do have to know about the case studies. The case studies come with alot of practicing. Just read the case studies over and over. I think you will do fine. Just read the question, but don't read too much in the question. Haseeb when are you taking the CCDP.............

I'm also going for the CCDA after finishing the CCNP. Is there any suggestions for practice exams and good study guides?
Thanks.
