Author The B called CID

Passed: 841
My primary source used was: Cisco Internatwork Design by Thomas/Pavlichek 0072126531. If you are preparing for this exam, I would consider it a mistake not to study it. I used the CP exam cert guide (horrible) and the CP CID by Birkner (dated). I did fail utilizing the CP materials. I came close, but close doesn't cut it. Normally, I'm all about CP, but it just wasn't enough. Review:
Design Methodology
3 layer models
HSRP
LAN questions
Frame Relay and x.25
RSRB
WAN designs
ATM/LANE
VLAN concepts
IGRP/EIGRP
OSPF
Desktop Protocols
Boson1 & 3 helped.

Well done - I'm surprised the Ciscopress wasn't enough, thanks for the info.

The CID by Birkner does cover all of these topics.

Soray,
I preferred the CID 1578701716 by Birkner between the CP books. The Crane CP Exam Cert Guide is littered with typos.
