| Passed DA two days ago, with 816! I had four VERY long CSs with about 35 questions (72 total).
My advice for all future DAs: Kim&Bruno, CCDA training kit and a LOT of BOSON tests.
Good Luck you guys, see you on CCNA forum!!

| Congrats on the Pass!!!
I already passed the CCNA. I am thinking of taking the CCDA after getting my CCNP. I was wondering if you knew how the material compared yet. Let me know. Or anyone who has got both.

| Congrats!
Lemme edit my post and ask: what is a CS presented like? Is there an exhibit button you hit to bring up the text of the scenario? Are they mentioned once at the beginning of the test only?
Please let me know since it's hard to envision this test format as I'm used to fixed-length multiple-guess style tests. Thanks!

| Yes Shotgun, there is exhibit button every time when they ask you a question about that Case Study, so you can read it again. Read questions carefully because you can answer some of them without reading the CS, just use your common sense.
Curtise, I just start gathering material for CCNA so I can't compare it with material I used for CCDA. Sorry.

| I have been told that you could probably pass the test without even reading the case studies for the most part "if you really know the technology"
Because it asks the questions based on the case study but the choices given either fall into the realm of the technology that is being tested or well out of it, that is to say only the answer applies to a given technology.
An example:
which would be the best firewall solution for company XYZ based on the case study?
A. Catylist 1900
B. 3640
C.1601
D PIX 515
I don`t know if this is a real question but you get my drift if you know the PIX is the only firewall of the bunch.
I guess I`ll find out what the test is like monday hehe. |
