| I just got my CCNA and am now going for the CCDA. How much new material is there on this test? Is there a good chunk from CCNA or is it all new? Little help please. | |

| Anyone??????? | |

| This is just my best guess, but I would say approximately 40% of the material for the CCDA was covered in the CCNA Cisco Press Books.
Of course, as you probably already know, you will also have a different testing format (i.e. case studies). | |

| The CCNA concepts are still there but comming from a design perspective, you go beyond the simple RIP and Cat 19K switches. It will be very challenging since at the core is to design a SOHO or RO or small Business network proposal. This will include everything that goes into if from how to make your decisions on new networks to measuring helth of an existing network.
Don't underestimate it, I consult on networks and thought the CCNA was pretty easy, this one gave me a good run for the money. |
