| I passed the CCDA today with a 922 in 1 hour. I found the test really easy. I received 4 case studies and about 30 questions on them. What I did for the case studies was: when I got one I spent 5-10 minutes reading it and taking notes on it. Then I answered the question for it. I did this because when I received another question on the same case study all I had to do was look at my notes, this saved me a lot of time because I did not have to reread the case study. I used Designing Cisco Networks as my only study tool (along with a lot of on the job experience).

Congratulation. Your score is really high. Well done.
Can you tell me the format of CCDA exam? I am doubtful about it: Many people said that they had encountered many cases studies. Are they all MC?
How many questions (totally) in CCDA exam?
Did you use any other study materials to prepare it?

| You can expect to get 3 to 4 case studies and about 30 questions total on the case studies. The test has 72 questions in all. I only used Designing Cisco Networks and Cisco's website at that is all you need. Just know the content in it really well and you will do fine. The test in the back of the book is good, I received 6 questions identical to the back of the book. | |

I spent 2 months goofing off, taking time to read the book. I probably read 1-2 chapters a week, if that, and then I spent 1 weeks studying hard, but thats about it. What helped the most is my working knowledge of Cisco products and my work experience. Are you going to take your CCDA test soon? | |

| well i have completed my study for ccda quite some time back as i have used CCDA exam prep guide and DCN book,but actually i got a bit lazy in between and then had to give my summer semester papers too now i got some free time to go through all this once again hope to give it before 3rd of september,well though my knowledge with cisco products is not as great and now much of work experience, as i have been doing my BS and just doing an intermship in an isp though have studied hard lets hope that i get a good score like you | |

Me, too... Summer time is difficult to study.. Work, party, fun and sleep...
Also, school start soon.. Need more time to study school work, certification and work .....
