| You have to total all your experience and capabilities to this point. Do you have a technical or business degree?? This will compliment your certification since you don't have any experience yet. The trick is to get someone that knows someone in a company to hire in a job that has promotion capability. Start out on an endpoint working on routers or network support at the entry level now!!! You can get some experience and jump ship for a better job if promotions are comming too slow but you need to get experience as soon as possible!!
At the start don't be too picky about what you get, so long as it is router experience of some kind, take the best you can get. Information Technology is a migratory type of work at best until you get the great salary and perfect job.
Good luck and keep on going!! | |

However i am still keepimg my hopes.

| Rampage: Have you sent your resume to every possible place that could use your services? Even those that may be a little further drive than hoped or big firms that are not neccesarily advertising at the moment? These are just ideas that I used in helping a friend look who's employer was folding up. Good Luck, and best wishes in the search... | |

| Have you tried boards like Jobserve.co.uk &
Planetrecruit.co.uk?
Thats where I got my 1st contract from...
Also use Computer weekly, very good for
permanent positions.

| Thanks Router rider,
It's about time a brit comes in,
Don't forget someone like me is new to the network enviroment as a whole,i don't know may be i'am meant to blag it on my c.v.(something i'am not used to).
I have tried those agencies as specified,
But again this might be a matter of the waiting game. But for how long goodness
knows.

| Tip of the day (from a brit)
Don't be too picky with your first position as it will not be earning an oversized salary. However you also need to keep your eyes open for the right kind of entry level position i.e. something that offers as much exposure to Cisco equipment & IOS as possible because this is the key to your development.
Lastly, don't get disillusioned or downhearted as the employers of this world can only ignore you for so long!!
Best of luck

| kind regards dillon,
things are not too bad ,at the moment i had a call from three agencies just a non formal interview, about few roles, all i hope for now is for formal inerviews by the companies themselves.
i never give hopes, far from that. After all i only passed the exam three weeks ago,i just have to hang in there.
The most important thing is i'm gasping to move on with my cisco knowledge.

| Mat,p
oh dear,i leave at the S.E.london(kent)
from your sayings i know you would have helped if you were in london.
I'm still gasping for a job though, most preferable permanent.
I'm dishing out my C.V. to all agencies,no interviews either, goodness knows what's creepling the market.
hope things will change soon because i'am getting a little bit impatience.Could you imagine all those efforts i put in my studies?
Thanks
