Hi;

I was on amazons site and found a book called "Inside Scoop to CCDA Certification" by Marla Poplar. This book is released by Beachfront Quizzes. It apparently has very good ratings.

Looking for some feedback on this book if anyone has seen it or used it.

Tks

I purchased this title several months back and it is way over priced for what you get.

The book is only about 225 pages of info and the rest is answers to questions and a glossary. There is no break down of the Cisco product line which is fairly important to the CCDA and it is only the size of and Exam Cram title but costs about 44 bucks.

IMHO, You should go to www.bookpool.com and look for Designing Cisco Networks (DCN) by Thomas M. Thomas (McGraw-Hill), and CCDA exam notes (Sybex) by T. Lammle and D. Atkins.

I think these books are much better and the big DCN book by Mcgraw-Hill at bookpool is about the same price as the Inside Scoop book and it is way more comprehensive than Inside Scoop.

Hope that helps.

Tks for the reply. I'm always leary of grabing the latest books that I haven't heard of from others that frequent this forum and others.

I've got the CCDA Cert Guide from Cisco Press, and was planning on taking a serious look at the DCN book.

Tks for the input.
