| Passed the CCDA with a score of 912. In my opinion, the test was not as difficult as some have made it out to be. I study exactly one week for this test. However, the fact that I had already passed the CCNA and BSCN exams helped tremendously. Otherwise, I do not believe I could have passed this test so quickly.
I read the Cisco Press CCDA Exam Certification Guide first (which I found to be a very easy book to read), then studied the CCXX Production Study Guide, and finished off with Boson Test #1. All three materials helped in their own unique way. The CCDA Exam Certification Guide covered approximately 90% of what I saw on the exam. CCXX and Boson were invaluable for testing the knowledge I should have learned from this book (plus a little extra).
My only advice to those planning to take this test is to TAKE YOUR TIME!! and CAREFULLY read the questions and answers of case study questions before reading (skimming) the case study. You have plenty of time to take the exam, even with the case studies.
I am a very fast test taker and hate the fact that Cisco does not allow you to mark questions. (I like to rush through a test, finish the test and then leisurely go back through and catch the inevitable mistakes.) I tried my best to take my time on the case studies and still finished with 60 minutes of test time remaining.

| Am presently working on my CCNP. Plan to take BCRAN in August (passed BSCN in June), then switching and finally the troubleshooting exam.

| Take your time, go over all of your practice exam questions and case studies at least once before the exam. Also if you havent already go to www.brainbuzz.net and get the study guide and go over it as well before the exam. It is great for polishing up the basics. Good Luck! | |

the most difficult one, not because of the questions, but the case studies!
ohh man!
only 4 case studies, but 40 questions regarding these!
