| Does anyone know the official score requirement for this exam? I have seen 650, 692 and some have said 755....
Also, what does everyone recommend as best materials due to past experience?
Thanks for any help...... | |

| I took that exam a few weeks ago, and the passing score was 755.

| Well, the above was right, just finished it myself and it is 755, used to be 640 but like the CCDA, they are trying to make it more difficult, too many people passing that really didn't know the material.
As far as what to look at for books, CISCO press has the CCDA book just for this exam. It has much more information in it then what you will see in the exam but it covers everything. The case studies take up most of your time and as I have heard, the Sybex book has the case studies that are the most like the ones on the exam.
Not much else to say on this one, it wasn't easy, mostly because the breadth of information to cover is much more then you will cover on any other test I believe.
One advantage to taking it though, I am finding tons of repetation in my preperation for the CCNP routing exam. How to break a network down and management options are re-iterated in the CCNP routing (probably also in the Support test) exam.
Good luck-
