I will be taking my CCNA on the 3rd, and plan on passing. with a little luck,,, weak in subnetting,, still

MY question is,, I'm not sure which to shoot for,,,I have researched each avenue CCNP/CCND and still cannot decide. Any thoughts or input would be greatful. Seriously,,,

I subscribe to the idea that NOT waiting for many months, but going ahead and immediately jumping in and hitting the next cert would be enormously beneficial to me,,IDeas and concepts still fresh. can anone help me with this delima,,,AND,,,,,if any input,,,what literature would be good for me,,,books,,,etc,,,,,

Hi Silky

I passed my CCNA in February, like you I
didn't know which exam to do next.

I decided on CCDA (exam next month)
because I wanted an understanding of Networks
completely, including the design aspect.

Also when I go for the CCNP, the 3 exams
Routing, Switching, remote access, will be
more valuable because they'll count towards
the CCDP as well (or course you also have
the CIT for CCNP & CID for the CCDP)

I've friends who have done the CCNA then
CCNP then CCDA, who are quite happy with the route they've taken.

I'll let you know how I get on, I'm using
Cisco CCDA exam guide & Cisco DCN

Made a mistake with my studying, used DCN as
main study & Exam book for reference, for me
this was a big mistake, Should have done
other way round.
