| Hi all
In spite of the efforts taken, i had failed CID. Scored 724. Scored very less in IBM SNA, only 14%.
I am looking for your advise. I don't have any experince in BM SNA systems and don't see any chance in near future to work on it. Shall I attempt once again or start preparing for CCIE Written. May be I will attempt CID at later stage when I feel comfortable with IBM SNA, opinion & suggestion please..
A word of warning, I used CID/Sybex book by Robert, it is very much lacking in IBM SNA & X.25 designing part. If anyone prepares for CID please refer to additional materials.

| hi mdbilal,
The answer seems pretty clear to me. I suggest brushing up on SNA and X.25 and taking it ASAP.( does that rythmn?)
I see score of 14%, in an area, as opportunity for large improvement.
Your score suggest you know your stuff, just brush up on SNA and knock it out next time.

Hey man. Just study SNA a little more, check your score sheet and beef up on the areas you did not get a 100% in and go retake it. I failed my first time, went back 2 days later and passed. Dont let it take the wind out of your sails. | |

| Come on Bilal,
You said yourself in spite of all efforts taken....
Don't waste that effort - concentrate on your weak areas and pass it with flying colours next time.
It'll be a shame to lose all the knowledge and have to redo it all when you come to retake CID.

I support what others have said, do it as soon as possible since it is still fresh in you.
Get to cisco site and get the docu on SNA. They are many there.

| Thanks for everyone. You have really given enough encouragement to go for exam. But workload in our office is killing me, I have to go on a trip, where I may not find enough time to study.
Time only matters, let me try.
