Hi, I was wondering if we should know the commands in details? is it covered at all other than the generic differences between linkstate and distance vector?

You should understand the fundamentals of OSPF. You should also know all the options you have as far as configuration and implementation. For which tests are you studying for? Whether or not you are studying for a test there is an excellent book on OSPF by John Moy (the creator of OSPF).

You should be familiar with the concepts of OSPF: the various "areas" and such.

Thx I'm studying for the CCDA. Do I need to know the implementation part? I'm asking not because i'm too lazy to study it but because I reached my limit...
