Cisco Product Lines Exam Coverage?

| Hi.
Just wondering if anybody can comment (without violating the NDA) on how extensively one should know the Cisco product line for the exam?
I've used the Boson tests for practice and they seem to have quite detailed questions regarding specific Cisco products.
I just can't seem to nail down all the model numbers and features. Any recommended study method for this topic?
Thanks. | |

| pr0digy25,
I was wondering the same ? myself.
Im guessing that one needs to have a good understanding of the product line and not necessarily memorize all the specs. I doubt even the sales team knows every last detail. (actually they probably do)
heres what I do when studying...
I try to look at the capicity of each product. ( # of ports, pipe supported, and any extra features that seperate this product from the other)
For example, 2600 series routers support CSU/DSU while 2500 dont.
I keep my thinking along these lines
hope this helps

ps- the appendix of Bruno/Kim's DCN Guide has a good listing of the products. Im not sure if your using it...good luck |
