I don't have either. I have the Cisco Press Study kit so I can't comment on them. But I do have the Sybex CCNA study book and saw his video. The video was AWFUL (glad a coworker bought it and not me), and I found the CCNA study guide "Lite". In addition to my Cisco Press books, I have the CCDA study guide by Syngress (sp?) and find that I REALLY LIKE the format of that book.

I don't have either book, but I did have Todd Lammle's CCNA book, and I didn't like it. His writing style did not make it easy for me.

I work with two other people that are working on Cisco Certifications and both recommend the Cisco Press Top-Down Network Design. One of these guys passed his CCDA using this book and the Cisco Press Designing Cisco Networks.

I own both of the Cisco Press books. I'm just starting Top-Down Network Design, and I finished Designing Cisco Networks.

I found Designing Cisco Networks a fairly easy read, but the case studies could be somewhat confusing.

Good luck

I thought the Sybex book was decent for CCNA, though a bit on the lite side. However, I've read both Sybex and Cisco for the exam and the Cisco is better for CCDA.

You can buy the Poplar book directly from the publisher (http://www.bfq.com/insidescoop) for about $30 plus $5 shipping. Or you can get a .pdf version for $20 and use your company's printer to make a book

It has the beachfront quizzer test engine included.

I'm just getting to this exam, so I will definitely know in a couple of weeks.

Stay tuned!
