Forum,

I just bought the Cisco Press book by Bruno and I'm surprised by how much I DONT know. I recently passed the CCNA and Im thinking I know a little bit but it looks like Im truely a rookie.

So this is my first post of probably many and I look forward to all the feedback you can give to the "rookie."

My ? is whats the average time spent preparing for the 441.

I'm going to test when I feel comfortable with the information but I'm just curious.

Hi Sean34,

I've been studying for CCDA since Dec 12, scheduled to take the exam Jan 29.

I've read/studied 4 books:

1. Internetworking Tech Handbook
2. Designing Cisco Networks
3. Top-Down Net Design
4. CCDA Cert Guide.

Just finishing the Cert Guide today. I'll review material from all the books and use the CD that came with the Cert Guide to test for any weak areas. I'm studying with the attitude of making a 100(Hey, anything is possible). Anything above passing is OK by me.

theres no time you should expect to spend based on sumone elses time. Everyone learns at a different pace. just read and take the practice exams till you feel confident.
