I was getting bored with my CID studies so I pushed the exam date up a week and it almost bit me in the a$$. I barely passed today with a score of 783, ~5 ?'s above the passing score. The test wasn't too bad, i thought I was doing better than my score indicates by a pass in a pass. I primarily used the CIsco Press Exam cert guide and it has everything you need. I also used boson and a grip of other cisco press books but as references.
just pay attention to the details of your readings and youll do well...
anyway off to the written - im really looking forward to this ccie entity especially the lab. Im kind of sick of all this theory, I want to develope some tangible skill, something marketable. it defiantly separates the men from the boys, and I a rookie. I want to get in the game

| Congrats on passing! I am about to start studying for the CID exam this week. I was wondering if you knew of the stats for the test? Number of questions and the passing score? Im reading alot of information and none seems very consistent at all.
Any help or clarification would be greatly appreciated from those that have recently taken the CID exam... | |

i really didnt use anything online to study for the cid, just cisco press books. The exam cert guide in particular...

the cid is 100 ?'s, 2 hour in duration, passing score is 755 and its on a scale of 300-1000. you can't mark ?'s...

I am about to take the CID and was wondering. You posted earlier that you used the Boson Tests. Did you take all of the Boson tests? Which version did you use and did you find any specific boson test to be closely related to the real exam?
I have two Boson exams, Tests 1 and 2, release 3.26...is this what you used? I found that the first test is MUCH harder than test 2...
Any info would be appreciated.

It's been awhile but here's what I remember...
I believe I used the same Boson version as you are...3.26 or something real close. My initial thoughts were #1 was indeed a ball breaker. Boson #2 seemed easier as well...
Generally, id say #2 is probably closer to the real exam, in terms of difficulty. As I was going through the dp i thought it was kinda easy but then again I didnt score that well either...so take it for what its worth
