Hi all.
I bought the CID Cisco press book and am using it as well as a CCDA boson practice test.
Does the CID book cover the same material as the CCDA and then some, or should I get the CCDA book first considering I have the CCNP cert already.
Just curious as to everyones opinions.

Hi, Chodan
I am getting ready to take CCDA, and I am using these resources:

Certification Path Diagram: CCDA Version 1.0

Cisco Press CCDA Titles

CCDA Exam #640-441
Designing Cisco Networks (DCN)
CCDA Exam Certification Guide

I started with Designing Cisco Networks and will then go through the second book. If you look for these books at Amazon.com
you might be able to find them used. That was what I did, found them still wrapped in the original plastic.
Hope this will help.

Hope that helps.

Get the DCN book from CP and also get CCDA EXAM Certification Guide also from Cisco Press. those books will prepare you for the questions that cisco will throw at you.
The ccda exam is based on scenerios and good understanding of topology. you will be hit with lots of very long Qs that will span 1-3 pages just for one question.

Goodluck!
