| I passed the CCDA exam Wednesday. It was long, had 5 case studies, most involved a company with an AS/400 that had to stick around, all needing some web access and one that was going from Token Ring - Ethernet.
Protocol questions were pretty easy other than 3 on X.21 (one was what is max speed?)
Several questions about "what items need to be identified in your detail design document"
a) DNS Server
b) AS/400 specs
c) Specific Routers for remote offices
d) varios wrong answers
Know your Lan Protocols
Know your WAN protocols
Know routing & routed protocols
Basic differences between pilots & prototypes
The test was not that tough. I passed on the first try, CCNA took me two. I took my time, didn't get frustrated with the enormous quantities of case studies questions and used common sense. | |

| I thought the CCNA was harder.. CCDA was more reading and it tried to wear you down.. don't be afraid to go slow and use all the time... | |
