| Just passed the CID with an 860, that's the first time I have scored under 900 on a Cisco test. The test wasn't really hard, it just sucked, there were many questions that were vague and I don't think mankind will ever know the answers to them unless Cisco decides to tell us; I just made the best guess I could on a lot of them and it seemed to work out ok. I would recommend learning the material inside and out, that way you can get all of the good questions right and you can afford to guess at the stupid ones. The Cisco Press CID course book has everything you need for the test except for Stratacom, I borrowed the Sybex book from a friend and it had all the Stratacom that you need for the test; don't sweat the Stratacom, it is very basic on this test so don't get too carried away on it. I'm going to sit on my butt for the rest of the year and then I think I will do security before CCIE next year. It took me six months to do all seven tests from CCNA to CCDP so I need a break now. It's time to drink beer and watch the world series; yeah it feels good! | |

| Thanks dude, I've got tickets to tonights game so I'm really hoping that the D-Backs win tonight. (Yeah, truthfully I have predicted Yankees from the beginning but the D-backs have really impressed me and I am cheering for them all the way) If they put in Kim tonight, I might have to start a riot at the BOB!
After you pass the test, don't forget to tell us how the new CID Cert Guide that you are using turns out, It would be nice to know if there is a single book that covers everything on the test.

| Awesome job on the exam, got the certs to move on!
I am just taking a breather right now and wil pick up again in late December. I am concentrating on the CISSP and SCSA to give some time for recertification for the CCNP and CCDP in the event that I am not a CCIE in 3 years (doubt that will happen).
Anyhow, awesome stuff!!

| Really well done!
I couldn't agree with you more about CID questions. To say they are vague is an understatement & until they upgrade the design track it is probably going to be that way for some time.
Enjoy your beers & the world series, after the last 6 months or so, you deserve it!
