| Sounds like a sweet certification, described as -
quote:
Upon successful completion of the "Designing Switched WAN and Voice Solutions" course, you will be able to do the following:
Describe the steps and processes required to design switched WAN and voice solutions.
Select customers who can benefit most from switched WAN solutions.
Characterize a customer's capacity and performance requirements by filling out the provided questionnaires and charts.
Use the Network Modeler Tool to generate a topology drawing and parts list. Produce an Excel network configuration spreadsheet to include the following for each site: nodes, slots, cards, modules, interfaces, rack mounts, power supplies, software version required, cable types, trunk and connection types, network management software, and prices.
Prepare both a preliminary and final network design that meets a customer's requirements for capacity, performance, functionality, and cost-effectiveness. The design will include a network architecture, the Excel network configuration spreadsheet, return-on-investment information, and a network topology drawing.
Sounds sweet but you need a pre-requisite of a CCNA WAN or CCNP WAN (doesn't exist yet) certification to get to here, sucks!!
Anyhow, something to think about if you are headed in that direction.
