CCDA/CCDP - Best book for CCDA.. the Syngress Media study guide?

Best book for CCDA.. the Syngress Media study guide?

Hello people,

I just ordered the Syngress media CCDA study guide (the red and the blue cover book).

Has anyone used it? If so, what do you say about the book?

I hate the way Cisco press books are, bottom line, they are just not for me.

And I ran across a lot of bad reviews for the Sybex CCDA study guide..

So, it kinda came down to the Syngress Media book =) who knows, it might actually turn out to be GOOD...

The CCDA is notably one of the hardest exams you can take that is below the level of the CCIE. The CCDA Cisco Exam Certification book is definetly written in a different manner for this exam and is actually pretty good reading. If nothing else it does give you exactly what you need for the test.

The case study questions at the end of every chapter are very good and the reading is more like a business driven book then a technical manual.

If you haven't checked it out, take a look at it before deciding not to use it. I still have the book and consider it a valuable resource for quite a few projects that I am involved with.
