I am a CCNP with 2 years of Cisco experience. I took my CCIE Written last week and got a 68. I have been preparing for it the last three months. Just yesterday my boss asked me to get my CCDP. So I took the CCDA this morning and passed with a 950. Obviously my studies for the CCIE prepared me enough for the CCDA. My question is, what is the difference between the CCDA test and the CCDP test. Are there the same amount of case studies as the DA test? Those case studies became tiresome. Well I would appreciate any feedback from someone who has taken the CCDP. I would be glad to answer any questions on any other Cisco tests for anyone. You can e-mail me at adignan@yahoo.com. Thanks

Looking through the past posts it seems that there are no case studies for CCDP, just QandA like in the other NP exams, although I haven't taken it yet. Great score on CCDA - I spent about 6 months on it to score 946 and thought I'd done well. Just proves what solid experience can give you.

That's a great score for the CCDA. I took it last month & got 912, which I thought was a good score at the time. I have already passed my CCNP exams & believe this helped me a lot when preparing for the CCDA exam.

I'm early ready for the CID (next month maybe!!)
