CCDA Questions!!!!!
|
|
|
| ...just got back from the testing center. I scored 747!!! argh! passing is 755!!! oh well. at least i am confident that i can go in there next week and pass it now that i now the style of questions that they ask. for those of you familiar with the grading scale, did i miss passing by one question?
I have some questions that are still unresolved even after reading the Cisco Press CCDA book:
1) what is the difference between a "detailed" topology diagram and simply a "high level" topology design?
2) what is the deal with those questions that ask about documenting network requirements and the last choice is always a cisco product? these questions confused me totally. i hope that my question does not violate the non-disclosure agreement. if it does, someone let me know and i will delete this.
Thanks very much,
Danny

Danny,
I know *exactly* what you mean. I do not think asking such a question is a violation of the NDA, since detailed and high-level topology is part of the exam requirements.
I did briefly mention in a previous post regarding the "recommend this product" answer for those case studies.
To be safe, you can e-mail me at kvalhion@lycos.com if you would like me to give my thoughts in detail about those questions. Thanks =)

| Regarding your question there is only a high level topography the other is a red herring. Also any questions that have a Cisco switch/router as an answer is also a red herring only answer a certain switch/router if the question asks which is the best switch/router to use in this application.
Good luck next time and these couple of question should get you over the hump!

| Danny, yes you were missing one question.
1) Detail topology diagram has IP addresses but high level design hasn't. The DCN book's case studies have a lot of questions asking this.
2) No one knows the exact answer. You have to guess which is the Cisco answer but not the right answer.
Just my two cents. Good luck next try.
