| I would to help those who are about to take the EXAM (CCDA), Although I have Failed I can Tell you were I was weak and possibly give some one else a better chance to pass
These Comments of course are only what I needed to focus on, THERE ARE NOT any specific information on the EXAM just general information were I needed to concentrate on in order to Hopefully Pass Next Time
1) FDDI , Know the Attachments along with the both RINGS and what is the second one used for.
2) ISDN - Not only the NT1 and NT2 but the Old interface like TEC
3) SplitHorizon is used for prevent loops, also know how to continue to generate a Constant Loops, I know it sounds strange but I can not be to specific. But it is not enough just to know what Prevents Loops, you need to know how or why to generate a constant loop
4)AS400 I don't have much information about this other than you need to know about it
5) Frame Relay - Well of course the usual SVC and PVC, but DLCI, Again it is not enough just to know that DLCI many Vitural Links through one Port, All I can say is know more than obivious!
6) Network Management Questions, refering to the Boson EXAMs, the EXAM did not require the same depth as BOSON as of matter of fact there was only 1 Question on the EXAM
7) Product information, Again Boson over killed, Boson missed the mark, what was needed was more of a general over view of the product, meaning the 2600 and 2500 Series what is their general functions,
8) The BOSON EXAM was about 20 to 30% of the EXAM, the real simple stuff, BOSON by no means provided the required depth needed to pass the Case Studies, It is my opion that the BOSON is well suited for the Experienced Network Engineer (Only), I also purchase ROBOVIEW, this again was nothing more than A study guide, The TOP DOWN BOOK was solid for my own personal needs, but missed the focus on the CCDA EXAM.
I will now try the Cisco Version of the CCDA.
Wish me luck, I hope this information can Help!

| Tom,
Your exam questions are similar to me. The question pool is not big I guess. You better review your weak parts and then retake the exam ASAP. You should make it without problem.
BTW, do you have CCNA? CCNA knowledge is really a help for half of the exam.
Good luck.
