Cleared My CCDA today with 815. Man it was real tough. It was mainly on case studies. It took out the whole meat from my mind. It is very tough belive me. It took an hour to solve first seventeen question. I finished my last question after 1hour & 56 minutes. I am very relaxed now. This is the most tough exam I have ever taken throughout my carrier all MCSE CCNA & CCDA. All u guys who gonna give it read the case studies & note down the req. of each client.Believe me it's gonna help. Know ur subject thoroughly. I used only Cisco Press CCDA book. I didn't have anything else.

| Congrats.
I'm just starting to prep for it now. I've got the Cisco CCDA kit. Any suggestions on what to study and how to study for this exam? Just skimming the CCDA study guide it looks like they cover basics of all of the technologies. I should be good on Ethernet (been doing it FOREVER and a Day) Some of the older technologies should be intresting though. I can't seem to be motivated to refresh SNA and other old stuff. ;-)

I can suggest u to read CCDA guide & mainly know which router & which switch to use in a given scenario. Also make sure u know layers. Mainly it's on case studies. As u get the question note down the details. That will be useful in next questions. They ask about token ring also.

Do they ask a lot of stuff on "obscure stuff"? If I was betting I'd bet the most common technologies .ie Ethernet, would have most of the questions with less common with only a few, is this fair?
Also what is the passing score?
